BOUT OF BOOKS 9.0 | Book Reviews

During the week long readathon I managed to finish 3 books, and whilst that wasn't great I did bring it around 820 pages.

The books I finished were: Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell, Wonder by R. J Palacio and 172 Hours On The Moon by Johan Harstad. I would have to say I thoroughly enjoyed each book, which was good considering I really wanted to read at least some of my ever building TBR books.

Eleanor and Park is a love story set during the 90's (I'm pretty sure). It really produces great feels, especially whilst remembering what it is like to have a first love.

Wonder is a middle grade, coming of age novel. The protagonist, August, is a 6th grader with facial abnormalities. It really speaks great volumes of message, perfect for young and old.

172 Hours On The Moon was something I never thought I would read. A sci-fi fiction, it moves from adventurous to suspense and really gave me the chills at the very end.

For a more thorough review watch here. This video outlines the main plot and the bits I thought were really well done in each novel.

P.S To buy the novels I mentioned use my affiliate link here. (Help a sister out yeah?)
